通常来说，PMP考试结束后的2-4周左右，PMI会公布中国大陆区的PMP考试成绩。
成功通过PMP考试的考生，会在邮箱中收到邮件标题：Congratulations, you have obtained PMP 的邮件。
邮件内容如下：
Dear ***,
Congratulations on obtaining the Project Management Professional (PMP)® Credential.
The certificate will be delivered within six to eight weeks to your preferred mailing address which is identified in our system as:
You may update your address online at https://certification.pmi.org/.
Your exam report is available at https://certification.pmi.org/. Until you receive your certificate package, you may use this report to validate your status. You may also access the policies and procedures necessary to maintain your certification in the respective handbook.

假设运气不好，PMP考试没有过，在PMI网站，myPMI页面，在Dashboard右侧，看到状态是：

PMP考试成绩公布后，考生可登录PMI官网（www.pmi.org），进入“myPMI”账户，在“Dashboard”页面查看成绩状态。通过者会显示“Passed”，未通过则显示对应状态。同时，通过邮件也能接收成绩通知，建议绑定常用邮箱并定期查看，避免遗漏。
PMP考试不设具体分数，仅以“通过”或“未通过”呈现结果。但成绩单会显示五大过程组（启动、规划、执行、监控、收尾）的表现评级，分为“AboveTarget”“Target”“BelowTarget”“NeedsImprovement”，帮助考生了解薄弱环节。
（举个例子：小李参加了PMP考试，成绩为人员领域A、过程领域A、业务环境领域T，总体通过考试，获得PMP证书。）
根据PMI（项目管理协会）官方流程及过往考试经验，PMP考试成绩一般在考试结束后的4至8周内公布。比如2025年3月15日考试，成绩于美国东部时间4月15日左右发布，对应北京时间为4月15日晚上，恰好在考试结束后的4周左右。
PMP参考人数是重要影响因素，若某场次报考人数远超预期，如2024年8月考试，因报名人数激增，阅卷工作量大，成绩公布时间就偏向8周的上限，于9月28日公布，距考试日8月31日约7周。另外，考试形式变化也会影响出分，像2020年PMP考试调整题型与考试时长，成绩公布时间较以往就有所延迟。
通过PMP考试的考生，通常在成绩公布后1-2周可在PMI官网下载电子证书。登录“myPMI”账户，进入“Certification”页面，找到“DownloadCertificate”即可获取，电子证书与纸质证书具有同等效力，可用于职场证明。
